    Dear All
I know that I have posted this color ball for quite many times but I thought one more should not bore you

Hey HB - I remember this bird and I still think it might be the most beautiful bird in the world. I like its little feet, like our own belted kingfisher in Missouri. A very ornitho-angelic photo here, by the way. Made my evening, my friend.

Stunning shot!! Just wondering why you chose 200 iso when you obviousely needed all the light you could get. I assume shooting 1/20sec with the 600mm would have left you with much less keepers....

Makes my Tanzanian Malachite Kingfishers look pretty lame! Bravo on your technique for the fine IQ at 1/20!

You have absolutely nailed it at 1/20 !!!! Looks like you had already got some winners at higher ISO and then your love for ISO 200 must have compelled you to try this one . The outcome is amazing !!

I made some nice shots ( including action shots at 800 ) then as he sat for few secs , I drop down ISO to my favourite 200 , I just love 200 , :):);)

Oh, man those are really crazy colors,
I love it of course. The pose is very nice even though not
a typical portrait one. It makes the bird look inquisitive.

please keep them coming Bhai, superb image in every respect... I am with you 100%., if the dang bird sits still, and you have a few minutes, iso 200, mirror lock up, and f5.6 was a very wise choice.

    awesome.

Harshad.....one thing that gets noticed less because of the awesome bird and its colors is the exquisite bokeh in this image. I'd take any bird on this background. And you got one of the best. huge congrats.

Harshad, me thinks you planed this repost and I am very please you did for us 'newbies':D

The detail and focus is where it should be, but if I didn't know better, I thought it might have been an April fool joke with the vivid colours. Like it very much!!!
