Default Another Bald Eagle, REPOST added

Here is one of the last images of Eagles I took this past season. Another from a series of "Berg" hopping as the Eagles were flying in, landing on and then floating down stream on these bergs. Once they got down stream a bit, they would fly back up right below the Lock and do it again! Yes, I know some of the blacks are blocked, like on my last image. Processed from a few lone .jpgs due to my backup snafu...:o. I like this also in a 3x4 Portrait crop as well, but with this crop, I like the enviroment, showing more of the ice, etc...

Nice...eagle hitchin' a ride! Enjoyed the explanation :-) I'm wondering if you have more room below to add some space between edge of "iceburg" and bottom of frame, and perhaps a bit more above too?

Great sharpness and eye contact. The exposure looks fine; a little bit of black doesn't detract from the image at all IMO. I agree with Daniel about adding some canvas on the top and bottom; would add a bit on the left to balance things out.

This is very nice. I like the eye contact and exposure. A little bit more canvas below and some on top would help. I would do a selective mask on the snow to lighten it up just a touch. I'm envious because these guys are really skittish where I live.

I like the head angle, sharpness and the floating ice makes for a great setting since we can see the talons really well. Another vote for a slightly wider crop and it could go a bit brighter for my taste.

Thanks for all the replies. Here is a repost with a different crop and a few other slight changes.

    Thanks...

nice shot buddy, I like the repost, and would suggest a bit of blur added to the bg in the top third of the frame.

Ah yes the extra space at bottom is much better. :)
