Quite like the POV on this one Tom, but the format and name rings a bell:confused:

Would also like to see it less central too.

Hi Tom I like the way its framed and the head clear of merges !! I like the direct sweet look and overall feel !!

Not a fan of centering composition but this sure looks appealing to me !!!

Like the alert look on your subject here. A few bright areas in you BG are a bit distracting. Comp works fine!

    Cheers for your input Steve.

Had tried a slight off centre crop but preferred this one - a question of personal taste.

Thank you Alfred for your comments, as I mentioned in my reply to Steve the off-centre crop didn't just didn't look right.

ps noticed the Elk? image in your signature is a nice centered composition.

Thank you Harshad it is very much that head and look that makes it for me. A change from the more conventional facing and looking straight at you whilst standing.

Thank you Robert - the bright bg areas are very much sunlight on the heather which is a rarity itself for SCotland.

    Hi Tom,
Good to see an image from you after a long time. I like this image. Though the subject is centred, the vegetation frames it nicely. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

I like the OOF framing the subject. Maybe just take a little off the bottom.
