    Village weaver (Ploceus cucullatus)

    I made this image in Mauritius, but I'm not sure regarding ID.

    Sorry, can't help you with the ID here, but man I love the radiant BG!! There is just a small patch near the wing-tip and tail that looks like it was touched up. I also feel the bird a little tight in the frame. Lastly, I would lighten the eye a bit (but NOT the pupil), and the area around it. I like the "wet" look. Was it raining, or was it visiting a bird bath?

    Sharpness and light look good but the BG makes this one for me. I might give it a bit more room and can't help with the ID, either. I only wish for a bit more eye contact.

    Agree with Axel...a little room will help. Awesome awesome bokeh. Small birds with 400 isn't easy. well done.

    Great background in this picture. I agree that if there were a little more room the bird it would be better.

    BG looks great as already said. Love the pose and I'd add a little more room at the bottom. That tail's a touch tight for me. :)
