    Default Lilac-breasted Roller in flight

    Lilac-breasted Roller in flight
I would have preferred a fuller wing position.

Hi Marc. I agree about having more wing showing and you were so close to getting it. The colors are spectacular and the slightley blurred wings show movement. The head angle seems slightly turned away but this is certainly a keeper until a better flight shot is achieved. I see evidence of oversharpening. Perhaps you can ease down on it a bit.

Amy's got it pretty much all covered - good critique! I like the inclusion of what was once the bird's perch. Nice BG too.

Tough shot to get, love the BG and colors. Just wish the wings were in full up position. TFS

Marc these are difficult to get in flight, but are so really beautiful when in flight. You succeeded ALMOST with this one -- I have tried to capture this in perfection, but not yet succeeded - you have me beat on this so far...! I would take out the perch on the LHS..

Nice background and great reflexes! Light is a little harsh and the HA could be a tad better?
