    Removed a twig with bright foliage behind her head that really bothered me. Not sure how successful I was at making it look unadulterated. I try to take a minimalist approach to removing stuff so not as adept as some of you.


    MKIII, EF500 @ 1.4x, 1/400, f/7.1, ISO 500, hand held on my boat.

    Hi Mike,
    Beautiful composition,bird and BG. I do not see any signs of PS work. Good job.

    You did a great job with PS b/c I don't see any signs of it. I would give the bird's feathers a bit more contrast. Awesome pose and composition here.

    Really nice bird and habitat. I see a magenta cast and would run NR on BG. Love the head turn and length of the nails!

    Great portrait - sharp and perfect posture. I would consider some noise reduction in the background.
