Gorgeous bird and reflection Judy. I like the crop. A little head turn would be nice, but we can't have everything, can we?

Beautiful image. I like the serene mood, details and reflection. A bit more eye contact would have been nice but I like it as is.

The simple reflection, slight ripples, calm water and the nice light with good color make this one for me. Since i have not had the pleasure of seeing or photographing this particular bird, I can't offer suggestions. But I would love to some day.

    Hi Judy Lynn!

I really like this. I also like the Red, White and Blue ... with the nice gradient blue being very soft.

First word that comes to mind is "smooth". The only sharp lines in this photo are on the bird (right where they need to be). Lovely colors too. I'll second the call for a very slight CCW turn. Beautiful pic.

The only very minor "fault" is the white feathers at the base of the nape where they meet the back look a little hot. Other than that it's one of the overall prettiest spoonbill photos I have seen.

Beautiful image, Judy Lynn! My only minor nit would be to rotate slightly CCW. I am posting this picture to help others. Just use the ruler and draw a line from one eye to the other. Select Image, Rotate and Arbitrary. This will straighten your image.

Thanks Jody !!! I appreciate you taking the time to explain this process. Everything we can do to better our photography is a real bonus. !!! < smile >
