I did another take on my hand made poinsettia flower. This time I went for a high key version w/ a bit of vintage color tones. Radial zoom blur. Pinched center. I used the same texture overlay as last time but w/ different snowflakes. I added a separate layer for the vignette.

    another excellent rendition Denise.
One very small point....the top and bottom petal on on an almost perfect
horizontal plane which may be optimized by a bit of rotation.

Once learned that things in perfect alignment are actually unnatural
and such order is seldom seen, but like I said.......a very small point
that may or may not have validity.

    The softer tones are wonderful

I love it! You brought out such a wonderfully soft, vintage feel and it all works. Outstanding image, Denise!

Dave and Jules, Thankyou both very much I appreciate it.
Dave, Maybe I could select one of the petals and warp it a bit. Do you think that would work? Thankyou for your time.

I like the soft look and the way the colors are subtle and fit so well together. I don't understand Dave's comment about the horizontal plane? Dave, are the upper left and lower right petals the ones you are talking about? The green line seems to be somewhat linear for those two, whereas the others are offset by an angle. If that's it, it doesn't bother me.

looks nice Denise with the little extra curve in the petal.
I am not too good with verbal explanations, but this was just
something I learned in school......about graphics.
One example I recall was a logo with a ship's spoked wheel. If it was
perfectly aligned, the orientation was not likely what one would normally see.
A slight rotation seemed more natural for an item like this.
Maybe I'm crazy......your work is awesome Denise
