Cropped to a pano type dimension on this one, altho I have others that are full frame. Wasn't sure which amount of blur looked best; this had the least blur and I think I prefer it.

Very evocative image - I can almost hear the wingbeats. I like the pano crop. The amount of blur seems right to me. I wonder about the 4 different color layers in the bg - the birds seem less visible against the blue and what seems like islands or weed beds stretching across the blue. I wonder what happens if you were to lighten the blue?
    Interesting and creative image.
    Cheers

I like the varied background, especially the sky, but Gail has piqued my curiosity about what lighter blue might look like.

Love the pano crop Anita. All of the frame is being populated by the Redwinged. Great soft tones also.

Thank you all for the informative & kind comments; glad you like the image. Gail and Casper, I tried lightening the blue area and feel it works well - good suggestion!
