So I sent away my old 20D away for conversion to Deep Black and W IR. I am second guessing myself, and there is still time to change my mind, BUT, would it be better to go standard or colour IR. I am having some doubts. Ultimately I would like to print the best one's up. Any thoughts????

Also, if you are thinking of converting an old camera to IR they have a 20 percent discount on now, Enter xmas 09 for the coupon code. Don't know if I am allowed to post this type of info but I have no affiliation with them.
    Thanks.

JAckie, I had mine done in standard colors and if I wanted B&W, would convert myself with Nik.

I agree with Fabs. The company modified one of my Canon 5Ds a couple years ago. A recent IR image "out of the box" with tobacco browns - http://www.pbase.com/salty_one/image/119878825 And another from the same day, this time converted to B&W - http://www.pbase.com/salty_one/image/119779363

There's a bit of a learning curve with IR, so take your time.

Same. I did the conversion on a D70 with std filter, just use PS to go BW. Some of my examples out HERE.

Thanks Arlon, I did go with their "Super Colour" IR, which is new. Thank you for your post. Nice shots BTW.
