    Technically "wild" but well fed....taken at the Albaquerque zoo on my last day of the tour......it was quite overcast but a few sections of the pond got the reflection of color off the buildings. Getting low was quite tough so I worked on images with reflections hand held. Debated removing the bubble in front of breast.
    Canon 1D Mark lll with the 100-400mm lens at 400mm for 1/200 sec. at f8 and ISO 800.

    I like the soft light, eye contact and unusual (for you) wide crop. :) I would leave the bubble and only wish the reflection were better.

    Roman, I still haven't found one of these to shoot. I can't wait just to see one in person. Beautiful colors and sweet pose. Nice composition!!

    Agree about you doing such ''wide'' crop! majestic looking duck. Love the reflexion on the water.
