I photographed this image in Carlsbad Caverns, NM with my Canon 5D Mk II on tripod. I added Nik Tonal Contrast to bring out the shadows and Topaz Adjust Spicify at 50% opacity to bring out more detail. ISO 200, f/2.8, 1.3 secs, EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM, 70mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, auto WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome....

Such a beautiful image Mr. Waas,
I like the contrasting colors and textures...the compositional value is super...well done my friend...:)

Richard - very striking, super job of getting an excellent composition in a difficult setting. Love the colors.
It might be me or my monitor, but the image seems to lack depth a bit. I expect to be looking into a hole and moving farther away visually, but it doesn't quite happen. But it could be me.
This is one terrific image. Congrats
    Gail

I did use a little NR, but I process all my images in prophoto and when it switched to sRGB it seemed to flatten with less contrast. Not sure why, but this is the image with no NR. A little better I think......

Hi, Richard. This is such a wow of a composition that at first I barely noticed the NR....until you posted the one without it. I think you could get by with a lighter touch of NR, and maybe just in specific areas. Lovely image!

A very interesting and creative image. I love the center of the image, but find the large oof LRC takes up to much space. Perhaps a closer crop?

A unique image (which seems harder and harder to do). Love it.
