    Default Theme: Poinsettia Blur #2

The original image I started with was a single poinsettia leaf that I shot the backside of. I liked the interest of the backside so decided to build my own poinsettia. I used lots of layers and warping. Then merged in a few buds from another image. Applied multiple blurs, layers and a texture overlay which I created from a new layer w/ some fill color and added lots of snowflake brush presets.(very faintly)I added a ton of sharpening layers to give it some added texture to the tips of the leaves. Then finally I added a warming photo filter since it looked a bit cool to me. I left a bit of the natural shine of the leaf in areas so that it appeared more realistic. And since we are on the cusp of two themes I added some snow.:)

a stunning bit of work......the soft hues are most appealing with a sort of vintage look.
    The pattern is well created

Lovely! Looks like layers of chiffon. Although I'm breathless from reading through all your PS work! :-)

I thought your creation was beautiful and then I read how you created it from one leaf. Wow. Now I am really in awe. Very nicely seen and created!

This is a serious work of art, Denise!

It must have been quite the adventure to imagine it, then create it.

    Outstanding!

Thankyou Bill, I appreciate it. I wasn't sure how this would come out. But I'm happy with it. :)
