Thanks Dave and Denise for something to take my mind off of trying to pick the winners for this week:)
I first used a copper effect at a low opacity, then Topaz Simplify Crisp Edge, then Topaz Adjust - Exposure Color
Sketch and then added an Accented Edges filter. Hopefully I didn't ruin Dave's beautiful image:eek: I liked the
way the colors came out, esp. giving a different look to the bg.

    C&C welcome.

Cheryl, I like what you did. What was the copper effect? I love the color tones and the rendering of the feathers. I might add back in more of the catchlight. Well done and thanks for the step by step.

Denise, I have Elements 7 and there are a lot of different effects including copper you can apply to your image.

quite interesting Cheryl....the black eye is almost sinister looking like
the dove is looking back with a hidden purpose. The accented edges seems to define feathers nicely

    Cheryl,

I love the BG in this one and the definition of the feathers. Colors on both BG and bird blend well together.
