    Another sparrow from yesterday. 40D, Bigma @500mm, iso 640, f/11, 1/200, ev +1, 580EX II @ -1, carbon fiber tripod, ball head. RAW coversion via CS3 ACR, sharpening and some clean-up of background limbs via PS.

    Hi Bob

    You can take your time and do some heavy work with this image !!! It is a good base image and will be satisfying when finished .. good PS exercise !!

    Would remove the red area behind the tail, does catch attention in a big way !!! Remove the branch running through his head and then clean up the seeds.

    Bird looks good !! I like the exposure, detail and sharpness A lower angle is about all it needs !!! Doing well !!!

    Something like this, Alfred? Does it look all right where the limb intersected the bird?

    Repost looks good - might still be some hints of the red around the tail area.
    Exposure looks good - just the high shooting angle to contend with.
    Good show :)
