Captured this coyote at Crown Hill Park in Colorado. This is the same coyote from last week. He will often venture onto the ice to try and get some of the geese. Maybe I will luck out tomorrow!:D

Dan I love the eye contact and the light is REALLY sweet!! The winter months sure brings the best light when it is out, for sure.

    Dan:

This is a fine capture of the image of a coyote that obviously means business. My only suggestion would be to clone out the vertical elements that seem to rise from the animal. I find them somewhat distracting, and they can easily be removed.

    Dan,

I like what you did with the cloning. I would suggest two more, the grass in front of the face. I like the early morning (I assume) light illuminating him. The stare and raised paw good inclusions to make this an interest grabbing image.

Dan, not sure if it's my monitor, but it does look quite yellow the Coyote, I just feel it needs just a little tweak perhaps. Love the stance, eye contact and position and perhaps a tad more room?

    Will PM you :-)

Thanks for the comments. Actually, this is pretty much what I saw that morning. The sun was starting to filter through some clouds, giving the scene a very warm look.

I like the raised paw and the subtle eye contact he's giving you while he goes about his business. Color looks natural to me given the conditions you described.
