I love the wing position and overall sharpness of the image. I would just leave add more canvas to the the left and top to leave more room for the bird.

As Luis points out, just tucked a bit tight in the top left corner of the frame...but all else looks good! A very slight sharpening halo is visible alond the bottom edge of the subject.

OK, I'll ask why have more sky on the left and top? The bird is well within the frame and still looking into the frame. Adding more sky would make the bird more centered with more of a bulls-eye effect.

I wanted more sky left, above, and right. This would still leave the bird well back in the frame. As presented, the framing is too tight for me. I suggest that when you are photographing the whole bird that it take up no more than 75% of the longest frame dimension.

Just my 2 cents.

Also, why have more room below a bird than above when it is flying up(wards) ?????????????????????????????

Composition tips mentioned. For my taste, it is just slightly oversharpened, and looks a bit stuck onto the background. Others really like the sharpness, but it is a bit much for me.

Looks like you had fun at Bosque.
