    Default Mac - file resizing

    Hi, about 2 or so hours ago i came home with my first mac....YAY....i just figured out there is no faststone for mac version....i loved the program because i could resize and it would be good quality but small file size....for any mac user is there a simular program for mac?

    One option is to just open the image in Preview (right click file /open with /Preview). Then from Tools menu select Adjust size.

    i didnt even know about preveiw im still learning the mac.

    What a great tip - used Preview for years and never bothered to think it had that capability - had always done resizing in photoshop.

    There is a free program for Mac call Photodrop that really automates resizing and is very is to configure. You can read about it here
