    Sticking with birds in snow for now. Didn't get the camera out much this week so this one is from the archives but seasonal. Not a great shot but perhaps some suggestions will help me the next opportunity. One doesn't happen upon McKay's Buntings all that often so this still works for documentation.

    ISO 400 400mm f/5.6 1/1250 miserable weather!

    What a sweet looking little bird! You did a good job; to me the color and exposure look great! Just a tiny bit more brightness and contrast, I think, along with slight sharpening, noise reduction in the gray sky, and a little cropping from the left to take him out of the center. And maybe a catchlight? However, since I'm not an expert by any means, I'm eager to see what the more experienced and skilled will say.

    Good work Anita !!!! Do like it much better !!! Would also suggest moving he bird back an lower in the frame It does have an excellent feel !!!
