This Harlequin Duck chased another duck at full speed. Photographed at Barnegat Light a few days ago.

Great exposure Axel and I love the action/ water splashes here. Head position shows how serious of a threat he is to his rivals. Congrats

A very cool action shot, Axel. Excellent sharpness and a good job handling the exposure. The splashing water really adds to the image.

    Axel...

Really like the action here and the bird is in great focus.

Some of the whites look fried but interestingly they aren't.

I would have liked a tad more room at the bottom especially as the bird is moving diagonally out of the frame toward the low left corner.

    Axel

the pics is fantastic, but as say Jim, the crop may be should let more room in front of the bird, where it goes. My feeling in this pictures, the dck will be stuck very soon with the border of the frame...

I hope one day I will be able to take pictures like that.

    all the best
