Herring Gull portrait

Nothing too special here, but I liked it anyway and wanted to share it with you. A herring gull juvi that allowed Jasper and me to come close enough for a close up. Every once in a while a drop of water would come from his beak, which is what I waited for here.

I like the light, angle BG, sharpness and the droplet adds to it. I might lighten the iris a bit and I could see this with a little less room on the left.
