Sanibel Fishing Pier several weeks ago. Sun had gotten too high, so lighting is a bit harsh and underwing is in shadow. I think the exposure's OK, but would appreciate comment. After taking hundreds of shots, I got very few with the wings in an upward position, and I never could get the Terns to veer enough to fan their tails for the camera. C&C always appreciated.

I like it Bill Good feel and like the blue bg !!!

Exposure is good and underwing detail not all that bad. Wings are in a pleasing position, straight and sharp with the bird having a good eye contact. Would only take a little of the bottom but you came up with a good looking image !!!

When the birds are flapping the wings about the only way to get the proper position is hammering with the motor drive !!!! ... this is a good position IMO !!

Nice Bill - as AL mentioned- all the techs look good. Good HA and eye contact - you have him before he has flown past you - Good show.

Sharp, excellent incoming angle, and the white on the body looks good. Just wish you have a better light angle so you can have more of the underwing details. I've trying to capture tern in flight and it is not easy, well done.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Thanaboon, I agree about the light. An hour earlier would have been much better.

    Hi Bill,
Terns are quite a challenge and you did well with this one. Techs have been discussed, only other thing I noticed is that the point of the bill seems to be very soft. Might want to look at that a bit closer. Good work!
