    Another image at sunrise from Bosque de Apache photographed with my Canon 50D on tripod. I wanted to try a different crop, I hope you like it. ISO 640, f/5.6, 1/640 sec, EF500mm f/4.0L IS USM, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash, Comments Welcome.....

    Very nice shot - like the crop. What if you backed off on the red crown saturation just a bit?

    Hi Richard

    With the wing position/detail and sharp head sort of wish you had the entire bird .... never seen a crop like this but does look good !!! ... btw agree on the red desat !!!

    I really like this crop. I'm suspect that a little more room in front for him "to move into" would strengthen the composition a bit.

    Hi Richard - Different - but nothing wrong with that - I quite like it - Might just desat the reds a tad.

    Richard, nice take on the crane shot! I like the high-key values on the bird and the crop is original for sure. Nice work!
