    beautiful image , lovely techs , compo and lighting are perfect for me , water line from beak is just too good

    Lovely Godwit image, Gavin. Nice light and detail. I especially like the circles in the water. Darkening down the reflections of the water streaming from the bill may be an option.

    Love the BG and FG colors, really makes him stand out. Good light here and the water/worm?) he is slurping up adds to an already great image. Congrats

    Gavin, the picture is taken in a very good light and the playful mood is very much conveyed here.
    I may clone the dirt spot just on top of the beak and may also clone the black spot on just beside its head.

    Very pretty Gavin. The water makes the shot, especially since it first looks like a beak extension. :)
    BG is terrific. The light direction is almost perfect, if only the back was a bit more lit.
