    Default American Dipper II

Here's another one from this past weekend. It is tricky getting solid shots of these active little birds in the dark forest.

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 50D
    Shutter speed: 1/60 sec
    Aperture: 5.6
    Flash: On
    ISO: 400
    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x

Great shot Glenn. I would love to see these birds one day.
You did a fine job in the low light conditions
    I like the underwater foot!

Great colour palette, Glenn. BG and FG work beautifully with the bird. Pity the open bill was not against a blue section of the BG as the colour of the lower portion is very close to the BG colour in that area.

Love the blue and yellow BG. The slow shutter speed made the flow of water by his feet look awesome. Open beak adds to this. Congrats

Glenn, the BKGR and nice low angle made this picture look from good to very good. It would be great if you could also put the exposure used in flash as well in camera. Congrats!!
