One of many images I have of this species and thought I would fool around with it. Not quite sure if it works but had a good time doing it...
Used Topaz Small Details, Nik Bi Color user defined, Small touch of Topaz simplify and hand colored the leaves at 20% opacity.

Dave, I like the hand painted look to this. The color toning is nice. Great pose and clear eye. There is a small twig on bottom right that I would remove(but that is minor). Nicely done.

I love the treatment but am unsure of the colors. To me the top green is a little too olive (yellow) for the bottom tint (more blue.) Maybe a slightly different tone would work better?

I do like the comp and the details very much!
