    Default Hot Ice

I had an image in my mind of the sunsets I used to see when I was a kid in Colorado. But where I live now unless I travel I don't get to see large bodies of frozen water with sunsets over them. So I created my own by combining a shot of a nearby frozen creek with a sunset over the Pacific from my front yard.

Any ideas on how to improve it?

    God bless,

Chris, this is beautiful. I really like your approach. The sunset has come out very well. My only suggestion would be to post a larger image to appreciate this better! TFS.

I agree a larger image would be nice. I love what you did here, very creative and colorful. I love the patterns of the ice.

Very neat image, Chris. I'm seeing lots of interesting things in the patterns:)

Very cool idea, Chris! Love the patterns in the ice, and the colors are terrific. I think it would be even better if the sunset colors extended all the way across the image. Well done.

Very creative! I love all of the texture the ice crystals have provided. Agree that it might be better with more of the beautiful sunset colors and less of the darker colors.

Sunset colors are very nice...with ice details above...I'd probably reduce the size of the dark area and show more of sunset color...
