Well... after spending better part of the week travelling across the country in snow and storm, i am back home in time to post my first one for this week's theme. I used a base image of grass in snow from an earlier trip to Yosemite in winter... applied DAP and then topaz simplify and in multiple layers and changed the opacity and few other adjustment levels to get this painting effect. Hope you like it.

Very cool and interesting comp. Indranil. I might evict that small clump of three on the left edge, but wait to see how others feel. Love the treatment. Great looking image.

Nice nice....agree about evicting a few, mostly any that run off the edge.
The strong highlight seems to work well here
Also some time try doing the simplify first and then the DAP with big brushes

Indranil - this is really neat! It almost looks like a layer of clouds viewed from above (like in a plane). Nice
    work.

Appreciate all the feedback. Here is a repost after cleanup...

Dave, thanks on the suggestion on simplify before DAP. I will try with another image.

    Indranil,

I like the composition with the emphasis on the grasses popping out of the snow and nothing in horizon or anywhere to compete. The treatment seems to have given the snow a bit of nice soft, fluffiness.

Yosemite in Winter! Sounds like a wonderful experience.
