    From my one and only visit to LE Lagoon in Fort Meyers Florida back in 2008...

    I did extend the canvas on the RH side.

    Nikon D300, 500VR, ISO 640, f 7.1, 1/3200, CW metering, -1.0 EV

    Beautiful action captured w/ sharp details. I like the pano crop. Might blend the blue line in the BG. I love seeing the wings in this position,it gives you a really nice view of both sides.Water splash is awesome.

    Hi Jim, I agree with the other comments concerning the splash; it makes the image for me. Good composition,nice and sharp. It is probably just my skewed view on life but the light line in the background towards the top gives me the impression that the image could use a little counter-clockwise-rotation. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Jim, great timing for the take off, and I really enjoy these type of images. Good wing position, and overall, sharp detail captured. Looking at the blue line in the BG, top, I would give this a slight CCW rotation.
