Thankyou everyone for the tutorials on snow. I added some angled brush strokes to this to give it a more painterly look. Also added some canvas at bottom.

Thanks Paul, I wish I had a wide angle on my camera, this was shot w/ the 500 and prob. the 1.4ex. They went back and forth up and down and the patterns were awesome to see. Funny how they don't run into each other the way they fly around and change positions. The snow tut. definitely helped.

Beautiful composition, Denise. Agree with Paul... you got them all banking the same way. Very nice rendering of the snow. I like the background oof layers of colors. btw, it might need a small cw rotation to straighten the horizon.

Denise, really nice! I like the fact that the bg horizon colors are the same as the birds.

Hi Denise, Very nice image. Love the pattern of birds and perfect touch with the snow. Not sure, but I might just lighten it up a tiny bit.

Denise, Beautiful image and perfect snow. I love the background layers and the crisp definition of each bird. Your timing on the shot was excellent as already mentioned to get the perfect banking angle.

Well, guess we all need to practice the snow tutorial! Great job with the snow here, and love the wonderful patterns.
