Very nice image Craig, love the sharpness and excellent details on the white around the body. The incoming angle is good too. I might lighten the whole image up a bit. My guess this was taken when sun is high up in the sky, wish the sun is lower so you could have more details on the underwing. Also what happen to the other foot?

Agree with comments Would also like seeing the compensation, seems a little under exposed !! With harsh light white birds are difficult. Base exposure for those is usually +1 metering on the sky .... but with lots of light you will blow the whites !!!

I like the position in frame and wing positions ... all looks sharp !!! Might just take a little of the bottom !!!

    A very nice capture Craig,
I like the raised wing position with the fine details, you have a good head angle and sharp clear eye...agree on slicing a tad from the bottom...looking forward to your next one...

Looks like your're doing pretty good with the flight shots! Sharp, good HA, and wing position.

Hi Craig - lots to like here - agree it looks a tad dark - but brightening up will probably push the leading edges of the wings over the edge. Softer light would have been the answer - nice practice though.
