Default Eastern Bluebrid - Juvenile Male

    Hi all,

Yet another young male Bluebird. This time shot at a shorter focal length in an effort to assure sufficient DOF. The BG has been blurred in post to simulate the bokeh normally achieved by higher FL.

Beautiful pose on the bird and nice eye contact, the BG blur works well here and has created a nice smooth BG. Some edges are too sharp and indicate BG has been processed but it's a minor point. Very well done.

Wow I cat believe you have taken this with a Point and Shoot camera..This goes to show that man behind the camera actually makes images. You have got a terrific background and nice details on the bird.

Thanks to all for your comments and encouragement,

Arash - I see those sharp edges now, thankyou... I will soften them some.

Vaibhav - We appreciate your comments very much. We have been very pleased to make some nice pictures with our humble gear, and have our lovely birds to thank mostly for posing up close for us.
