A May shot that I added some snow/sleet via using color and mono noise, blurs, threshold
and screen blend modes. I had more snow at first but it obliterated the RWBB.
Thanks for looking in and c/c

Dave, Very neat pose w/ the feet apart like that. Makes you wonder how they can hold on. The BG snowflakes are just faint enough to be interesting w/o overpowering the image. Your snow came out fantastic. Love the perch and a killer RWBB.
thanks Denise, here's a link to basic snow tut with color noise......really a simple one

Dave, Thanks for the link. The step by step looks easy to follow. Sometimes I make my own snow and the noise layer is a great tip. I will give it a try in AM if I can find an image to post.
Nice effect Dave. Will try it out.
Very nice, Dave. Great pose. HA is a little off from the "ideal," but it's not a big issue IMO. Great looking snow, and I like the faint BG snowflakes.
Very nice base image and the snow theme is well served! Nice use of design elements.

Another beautiful composition, Dave. The snowflakes are great. I like the position of RWBB and relation to the snowflakes and uncertainty in the posture with those slightly ruffled feathers.
Dave, I love the pose and thanks for the tutorial.

Dave, I really like the snow in this one. It is more random looking than what I have been able to do - different particle sizes and not all in exactly the same direction. I'll check out the tutorial.
Your image is beautifully captured with great position of the RWBB, and just the right amount of snow. I'd better learn your technique, coming from Texas! Thanks for the tutorial, Dave.
