Great shot of a beautiful bird, Varun! Nice detail and great composition.
Is the perch natural or was this a set up?

Sidharth: This was a setup, shot this from a hide, the area where I had photographed this couldn't find many perches and this is what I managed to find. I have a few on a different perch but those images lack good BG. Will post them soon

Hi Varun, its a good shot with a nice BG.
I'm surprised as to why you are using ISO 100 as you can get more DOF with higher ISO and still a clean image with around 250.

Nice image showing one full half of the bird. As always, the slight head tilt towards you makes this more appealing.

What is HA by the way?

Killer bird, SH, COMP, head angle, and BKGR. I love it. A ton. If you twisted my arm I would say that the blue tertials (???) look a bit funky....

Lovely bird on an excellent perch with great BG, I like that the perch does not extend beyond the bird and is not distracting. well done here

    Hi Varun,

A beautiful shot. I like the colours, the HT and BG. The perch could be a bit more interesting IMO but that would be about it! Lovely.
