Wonderful sharpness and colour, with a lovely background. My only concern is with the pose - it's interesting to think what the right bird is doing, but long-term I think I'd prefer something more traditional :)

Have to disagree with Graeme...everyone shoots traditional and personally I think non traditional poses is what sometimes sets images apart from what everyone else does.

Very fun, I like the opposing poses. I have been really enjoying this series.

Two minor thoughts:

1) The image is just a bit bright for my taste. I pulled down the brightness slider in ACR 10-12 points, which works for me.
2) Slight crop change, with bit more space to left, bit less to right. This keeps the left bird from seeming quite so crowded against the frame edge. To me it also strengthens the two birds being in opposition, by balancing them more evenly.

Very nice as is, just an option.

Just to clarify my thoughts (but it's all personal taste with these things, so I'm not arguing), I think it's the bent wing of the right hand bird that I'd like to see a bit more of, giving it a little more of the balance he/she's obviously striving for. As it is, I feel a little 'uneasy' looking at this picture, which is not my style.
I prefer the original crop, by the way. The right hand bird has more weight so a slightly more central position works for me.

Here is another composition option for this stunning image - added to the left and top and cropped off the right. Didn't feel it needs any other adjustment - re brightness. Please keep them coming they are stunning birds.
