    Thank you Harshad, a magnificent beast, a real awesome character and one of life treats to meet, the Tiger that is, LOL.

    Like the majority of us, there is always that 'blade of grass' in the way, nothing you can do and often miss getting the shot. Has this been cropped, even at ISO 800 for Nikon it does look a little 'noisy', hence my question. I guess it was shot from a jeep rather than from an elephant judging by the POV.

    Still, it's a nice shot and will always be an animal I cannot photograph enough. TFS, appreciate the dedication.

    yes cropped tight but I am bad with noise reduction for sure , master file looks fine. Taken from Jeep

    Harshad, I never use any noise reduction, and perhaps I should at times. There are some plug in for PS if you fancy a look. Can't say to much as I haven't tried them!

    Mighty fine close up and do like the tech settings !!! Your camera should be very clean at that setting Do try Neatimage, easy to use and great results. Can also try Topaz !!!

    Nothing too much more to add from this nice sharp portrait Harshad, other than to perhaps increase the saturation a tad.
