Default Great Egret (Egretta) fishing, evening (7:00 PM)

    Hi

Here is an evening short of an egret hunting small fishes in a lake outside Curitiba in Brazil, captured just before sunset, it was kind of cloudy with not that much light. Only PP was Dfine in photoshop and camera profile set to standard and minor tweaking in LR of tone and presence. I kind of like the reflection in the water, my doubt was how much I should crop as I like the details in the for and background, even it might be a little disturbing.

comments are welcome, thanks for looking :)

    cheers

    Still no image here.

I have to sign off, but if you PM one of the other moderators on at this time, they might be able to help you.

Generally it doesn't work to do links to other sites for your image. You need to post it directly on this site, following the advanced form in the new thread section.

I like the wingspread in this image but the plants in front of his head seem distracting. Did you get any others of him moving a step to two more towards you?

    Hi Stephen, thanks.

I agree with the plant, though all photos in the series had the plant just about in-front of the egret or he was turning to an unfavorable position and did not lift the head to get free either. I could remove it with some PP.
