Taken at our farm in eastern Missouri. Not sure what the little guy is holding in his bill. Big perch but kind of appealing.

Such great-looking birds, you've captured this beauty nicely.
perch doesn't look overly big, it's nice that you can see the tip of the tail.
beautiful BG, good detail, all in all a keeper.

Nice bird and BG. I do wish for a better HA, and yes the perch is thick for this bird (although it does have some nice mossy dustings here and there). Hard to tell what that is in the bill!

Very good detail, I like the perch but I think I would
crop more tightly around the bird. The "food item"
adds a point of iterest very nicely to the image.
    I like it.

Love photos of this bird. Hopefully, I'll see one some day.
Great photo. Beautiful colour and even background. Nice detail on the bird and soft even lighting.
Maybe crop a bit so that the branch goes through the bottom right corner. It's sometimes nice to try to fill the corners of photos. That would remove the extra empty space on the right and anchor the branch a bit, too.

Danny great DOF, sharp image and nice BG. Like Dan I'd wish for a better HA but I'd be very pleased to have this in my collection. I've yet to see this species.

Very nice photo Danny. I like how the colours have been handled. Crop looks good as well. The thing in the bill looks like it could be a diamond. Well done. Dave
