I have taken this image on a recent trip to the Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Elephants are very protective of their young ones and I was trying to capture the little one during the brief moment that it was in the open. Their trunks are wet as they just left the waterhole.

Very cute tiny baby ele, Elmar, and a lucky capture and view of such a small baby. I like all the legs and trunks- nice vertical lines, gives a good idea of the size diference. Soft colours also very nice.

Very nice Elmar, really showing the protective nature of the matriachial herd here. Good lighting & color also.

Great shot here, Elmar, with the little one standing in a forest of elephants. Lovely image.

This gave me an idea, crop the top just below the adults ear tips - I think it looks neat!!
