    Taken on a trip to the Kimberley in north-west Western Australia in late 2006.

    Canon 20D handheld, 100-400L IS @400, f/5.6, 1/1000, ISO 200, AV +/- 0.
    PS CS - Crop, clone out part of branch, quick mask in one tail streamer, sh-h, levels, curves, usm.

    Beautiful bird, great light and BG. I lalso like the slightly lifted wings, must have been warm there. :) I might clone out the dark spot at the top.

    You are welcome Dean. :) This is an outstanding image! Love the pose, composition is excellent. The BG compliments your subject very well. I would selectively lighten the bird a tad if it were mine....

    A very difficult bird to expose correctly but you did very well here. I really like the details and compositin here.
