Cool-looking bird, good sharpness and colors. I wish the head were turned toward you and the angle were less steep.

Like everything about this image as it stands, Jan- well captured, great detail. I was wondering when someone will post one of these little gems. Only seen it once.

Lovely image! Sharp with good details. I have no problem with shooting angle. I can see sharpening halo around the beak and upper part of the perch.

A beauty for sure! Nice thin perch too. This particular HA contributes to the sensation of a steep angle...had it been more towards us and cocked a bit down down it would have been a stronger pose.

I like the out of frame look of the bird, a little steep maybe, but loved the perchand details here.. WD

Great exposure and sharpness and wonderful to get this elusive species. Well done! I see a slight sharpening halo below the bill??
