I like the alert pose and eye contact. The trunk in the BG is a bit distracting and I would give it more room at the bottom for the clipped tail and a bit more on the left.

I agree with the comments above, but for me the biggest issue is the sawed off perch ending. Around a backyard feeder setup you have control over which perches to use. In this case it would be wise to scout around for some better ones and implement them to your setup (and eliminate the bad ones). Keep it up, you've been posting some nice work!

I agree with the comments made. Thanks for looking and suggesting. This is one of my first attempts at bird photography from last winter when I first purchased my 300mm 2.8L...at that point I had no idea about BPN or any other resource to learn from. We had an ice storm in late Jan. 2009 which knocked down literally hundreds of trees and I just propped up a trimmed tree limb next to my feeder and was shocked that a bird even landed on it! I feel as though I've learned alot in a short time.
