What a great shot Harshad! Great background, nice light, excellent color and exposure. And what a treat to get them both together. I like the crop too, works very well.

Beautiful species, excellent image. Might consider altering the gray BG in the upper left if you're not opposed to such.

Nice to have both in the frame, light, sharpness and perch look good. I only wish for a more uniform BG, could you have moved a bit to your left?

Really nice to see both the parakeets in frame. The sharpness and details are excellent. As others have mentioned, I too would have preferred to see a uniform background.

Very striking birds Harshad, you are trying to entice me back, I can see :-) The BG reflects well the vibrant colouring of the birds.

BTW Can you tell me why you shot at f/14 please?

I was shooting flock of Rosy ringed parakeets and these guys landed infornt of me , So could not get time to change settings , fortunately lighting was good and image came out sharp. Thankfully I did not wasted time in changing settings as lady flew away ,

Wondeful image Harshad! Great colours, and having both in the frame like this is a huge bonus. I would smooth out the darker patch between the two birds.

Harshadbhai, good use of aperture to get both perfectly in focus. Lovely colours throughout, and the comp works well. Great capture.

Great image bhai. the different head positions help the image and the eyes with catchlights on both birds add to it.

I had the same Q as Steve on f/14 and your explanation is apt.
