    Default Limpets for Lunch

I haven't been able to get on here as regularly as I'd like unfortunately, plus every spare minute I have I sneak out to try to get new images. Caught a few Dunlin hanging out with Sanderlings today down at Gooseberry Island in Westport, MA. Not much for light because of heavy cloud cover, here I used a trick of Arties by pushing the histogram as far right giving the image a washed out look and then brought out the details in pp. Hope everyone likes it and all C/C appreciated.

Great isolation with the foreground blur and background blur. I like the lightness and faint color - it makes it seem a bit austere (in a good way).

I like the angle, pose and exposure control and might just give it a tad more room on the right.

Brian, I like this alot! The high key look to this is most appealing. I like the pose and the details. I even like the motion blur on the right leg and foot. Another vote for a small amount of room on right.

Great one, I love it. The colors and hi-key feel mentioned, the eye contact is excellent,
the action is great too. I would crop bit off the bottom perhaps. What is most appealing
to me here is the great composition with diagonal bird line and a second line formed by the two
shells. The shell on the left balances it all very nicely. Agree about bit more space on the right.
Also I would clone out the light patch in the middle at the bottom.
    Congrats!

Thanks for all the replies, really appreciated and a great confident booster.;) I add some more room to the right as suggested and removed the light circle on the bottom, result of pping to quickly.

Nice Brian, like the eye contact and natural behavior only wish if more of the bird was in focus. TFS

Love the original . The DOF is a bit less , but the exposure , action makes this image for me . LOvely effort !!
