This is my first trip to Bosque Del Apache. I had great time.

Kevin, good angled shot!, sharp face. It's best if you add "Sandhill Crane" time of the day and a little bit about the conditions. It seems you had little light, so little speed available on the tip of the wings, still besides the ISO 1000. Well done!

Lovely wing spread with plenty of under wing detail. Dangling feet and BG are nice. I feel it needs some CCW rotation to straighten the water line in the BG. Congrats and I'm glad you enjoyed your trip.

Nice landing pose and angle. You could try to raise the color temperature to remove the blue cast.

WB seems off, as Axel has pointed out, giving you a blue cast. I second the ccw to level the water line, and I would suggest brightening the image. A higher iso on the D700 would have given you more shutter speed to work with.
