    Removed the shadow across the Eagles right side of it's head. The background is what it is as the male was perched near it's nest and had just finished a meal.

    With that look back stare it makes me wonder what is going through the eagles mind. Nice shot. Perhaps a slight crop off right, moving the bird off centre maight make a slight improvement. Certainly sharp and seems to have nice dof. Well done. Dave

    The clarity and natural looking exposure of this image seem just right to me Duane. And your crop seems right also with that straight-on stare and just slightly diagonal pose. As you say, the bg is what it is, but the colors do look good too.

    I'm always a big fan of the look back pose and I love the texture of the perch. I also don't mind the busyness of the BG as it doesn't detract much from all the detail on the bird. I agree with Dave on taking some off the right. Congrats
