    Default Bosque dawn Polaroid

    Attached Images Attached Images

I started with an image from the "flight deck" at Bosque, just before the sun came up. I used Topaz Detail, Nik ColorEfex Pro, and a few other PS adjustments to get the aged Polaroid look.

    Thanks for looking...

Kerry, I like the warm tones in the scene. I think maybe just a bit smaller on the border-but I do like the random egde of it. Another nice scene from Bosque.

    Kerry,

I love that Polaroid transfer look. Good job on the muted color look too.

    God bless,

Hi Kerry, Love the warm color tones in the image. Nice peaceful-looking scene. Not too fond of the border; for some reason the ragged edges and black areas look distracting to me.

Thanks for your comments all! I appreciate the feedback.

I should have shared more about what I wanted to convey with this one... I was thinking that this image would evoke a sense of what it would have been like to be at this spot decades ago, with a Polaroid camera, which sometimes made an instant disaster! I can just imagine the photographer's cold, freezing fingers pulling this one out of the camera and seeing the smeared border but a nice image. It would be one that you only showed to your best friends because you loved the capture but the camera was too cold to make a decent print. Remember peeling those layers apart to see what you got? ;)

Thanks for explaining a bit more of what your vision was for this, Kerry. The border makes more sense to me now. Polaroids were before my time, so I wouldn't know what one looked like. :D
