    Some of our Mallards are so bold they walk or swim up to you to get a handout. This guy came so close I had to back up. Didn't really know they had blue on their heads..I didn't change the saturation at all, not sure where the blue comes from...Thanks for looking

    this DOF would have worked well ina lower angle, nice HA, details and comp... congrats..

    I like the eye contact, colours and nice calm water. A lower angle would have made this more powerful IMO and it would have gotten rid of your DOF problem that has been pointed out by Harshad and Kiran. Also it would have increased the intimacy with your subject.

    I like the soft light, sharpness and head angle. Another vote for a lower angle if possible. Wouldn't it be nice if more birds were as cooperative as this species? :)

    Paul, Nice sharp head and I like the pose and water color.Another vote for lower angle. I never saw blue on the head either. Nice looking image.
