This image was taken last week...we had gotten a dusting of snow..decided to get ready for his weeks theme...
Cropped to suit, cutout applied to background, fotosketcher oil painting effect on horse.
Funny though on Wednesday were supposed to get rocked with snow..drat, time for the snowblower to come out.

Paul, Very nicely composed. I like the head turn on the horse and the "real" snow is great! I'm thinking a rich mahogany frame, but that is just a matter of preference. The painted effect on the horse looks nice.

love the image Paul and the horse has a very nice treatment.
Funny, how my very first visual impression was the frame color.....the green seemed
    contra to the image.

just for a different visual, tried a bit of color change.....just another option sir

LOLOL....have to admit like the frame better...but alas, all I had was fotosketcher to make my frame...maybe I should stop doing frames when I only have 7 to chose from...:D;):o

OK so how'd you change the frame color?

    glad you like it Paul.
I often change/alter the photosketcher frames. In photoshop, do a rectangular marquee
selection just inside the frame, invert the selection, then use hue/saturation adjustment to taste.
And try the light/dark slider in hue/sat also.....have fun. Then control D to delete the selection(on PC)

Nice frame change! Love the look of this Paul. It's hard to imagine it NOT as a painting but as a photograph. It seems perfect as is...

Hi Paul, Like the snowy scene with the horse. I like both frame colors, though I might lighten the frame a bit in the second version.

Paul, I actually think I like it better sans frame:) I love the composition - looks like a great Christmas card.
And thanks, Dave, for your help on changing the frames - I learn something every day - it's one of the things
that makes this group so great!
