This pair of lorikeets had a nest hollow at 10 feet in the center of a Caravan Park.

Canon EOS 3, Canon 100-400mm, ISO 200, Natural light with fill flash, 1/125 F11,
    Hide/Tripod.
Image scanned at 4000dpi from colour negative film - results never up to expectations :(

Hi John I like the little guys Unusual post and love the expressions Would back down saturation on the pair and crop part of the left side Will make the birds bigger in frame and you don't need that much perch (does look good: Also would work on the eyes They don't seem totally sharp !!!

Great catch of this pair and their nest cavity. Alfred comments are right on and possible composing this with less tree and more space to the right would work

I like both reposts, sharpening and less saturation definitely improved the image.
